OUR STORY
Toast Culture opened it’s doors in the spring of 2019 from a concept developed by Josh Wilhelm & Joel Margolus with the idea to offer satisfying, scratch made food & inviting customer service. In spite of the looming pandemic it has been able to adapt and grow, establishing itself as a popular eatery in the Oliver neighborhood.
Now fully owned/operated by Josh, a chef who ran the kitchen at Jack’s Grill before heading out to Victoria to become head chef at Bubby’s Kitchen, a very popular restaurant known for its devotion to sustainable food practice, the use of fresh local ingredients and making everything from scratch. In 2014 Josh launched Coast Lunch Box in Victoria; a west coast inspired food truck & catering co that now services the greater Edmonton area.
We have partnered and sourced wonderful artisan breads from Bon Ton bakery, locally roasted coffee from the Colombian, the best craft breweries and a variety of local purveyors of fresh vegetables and charcuterie.
